Welcome to Thoughtic Lab ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS application.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Data: Your email address and display name when you create an account or sign in with Apple/Google.
• User Content: Thoughts, ideas, and tasks you create within the app. This content is stored securely in our cloud infrastructure.
• Usage Data: App interaction data (screens visited, features used) collected via Firebase Analytics to improve the app experience.
• Purchase Data: In-app purchase records processed through Apple's App Store (we do not store payment card information).

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Thoughtic Lab service
• To process AI analysis of your content via OpenAI API (content is sent anonymously and is not used to train OpenAI models under our enterprise agreement)
• To send important service notifications (not marketing emails without your consent)
• To improve app performance and fix bugs
• To prevent fraud and ensure app security

4. AI Processing (OpenAI)

Thoughtic Lab uses OpenAI's API to power AI features such as automatic categorization and analysis of your content. When content is sent to OpenAI, it is transmitted securely over HTTPS. We operate under OpenAI's API terms which prohibit using your data to train their models. Your content is processed transiently and not stored by OpenAI.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore) with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. We implement access controls to ensure only you can access your content. We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services.

6. Third-Party Services

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, analytics
• OpenAI: AI content processing (anonymized)
• Apple App Store: Payment processing and app distribution

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of analytics collection (via iOS Settings → Privacy → Analytics)

8. Children's Privacy

Thoughtic Lab is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
