Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Thoughtic Lab iOS application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Thoughtic Lab.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Thoughtic Lab. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that your use of the App complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

3. License

Thoughtic Lab grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content.

4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Thoughtic Lab offers subscription plans and in-app purchases processed by Apple's App Store:

  • Subscription Plans: Available on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are displayed in the App and confirmed before purchase.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Managing Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings (Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions).
  • Free Trial: If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled.
  • Credits: In-app credits (one-time purchases) are consumed as you use AI features and do not expire. Credits are non-transferable.

5. Refund Policy

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policy. Thoughtic Lab does not have the ability to issue refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in Thoughtic Lab (thoughts, ideas, tasks). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the service to you, including transmitting it to AI services for processing.

You agree not to use the App to create or store content that:

  • Violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Is harmful, abusive, or objectionable

7. AI Features

Thoughtic Lab uses AI to provide automatic categorization, analysis, and suggestions. AI-generated outputs are provided "as is" and may not always be accurate. You are solely responsible for any decisions made based on AI suggestions within the App.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THOUGHTIC LAB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
